Unsure What Product is Right for You?

QUESTIONS? TEXT: 801-436-7272

Step 4 picks up where Step 3 left off to continue promoting systemic detoxification and healthy drainage pathways with BC-ATP, HM-ET Binder, LymphActiv, and Para 4.* BC-ATP returns to optimize energy production and mitochondrial health, while the other three products are introduced to the protocol for the first time.*

HM-ET Binder is added to promote the body’s natural ability to detoxify beyond the gut and encourage cellular repair during these processes.* LymphActiv lends increased support to the lymphatic system with herbs used traditionally to support lymphatic drainage, such as astragalus root, chuchuhuasi bark, Chinese rhubarb root, sheep sorrel stem and leaf, and slippery elm bark.*

Lastly, Para 4 offers a potent blend of 11 herbs — including celery seed, holy basil, and horsetail — to support digestion, the gut microbiome, and immune health.*

Formulated with Carbon Technology

Carbon Technology is a proprietary blend of fulvic acids that support cellular repair and the body’s natural ability to detoxify.* With a low pH, Carbon Technology also helps protect ingredients from being digested by stomach acid, so that they remain intact as they enter the desired location in the body.

All of our supplements are formulated with Carbon Technology, with the exception of Para 1, Para 3, and the IS-line.

  • Can the supplements in Step 4 cause or worsen existing symptoms?

Since all of the supplements in this step promote the body’s natural detoxification processes,* it’s possible to experience mild detox symptoms, such as bloating, fatigue, constipation, headaches, or gas. This will depend on an individual’s toxic load and varies from person to person.

If an individual experiences excess reactions, we recommend introducing one supplement at a time (and starting with a half dose) in the order listed on the dosing chart.

Note that if the supplements in this step aren’t well tolerated at a regular or sensitive dose, it’s recommended for the patient to do the Comprehensive Protocol instead of the Foundational Protocol — as this suggests the body’s needs for detoxification support are greater.

CT-Iodine and IFC were previously included in this step. Why were they removed?

Recently, small modifications have been made to our protocols to make them more effective, better tolerated, and highly customizable.

IFC has become a protocol add-on, as not everyone requires increased system balance support.*

CT-Iodine has been removed from the Foundational Protocol because not everyone will require additional iodine at this stage of supporting detoxification.* However, CT-Iodine can be added at any step if your patient requires additional support.

Do any of the supplements interact with medication?

Always consult a licensed healthcare practitioner when introducing a new supplement. As a general guideline, it’s recommended to take all supplements at least two hours away from prescription medications.

Do the supplements have to be taken with food, or can they be taken without?

All of the other supplements in this step are recommended to take between meals for maximum potency. However, if patients are sensitive to any of the ingredients, they can take them with meals.

Is the protocol safe for children or during pregnancy/breastfeeding?

Yes, children can do the protocol at a lower dose.

When pregnant or breastfeeding, it’s recommended not to promote periods of deeper cleansing. Instead, consider which individual products or kits could support a person’s needs during these life stages.

For example, BC-ATP and CT-Minerals are gentle formulas that are typically well-tolerated and can be taken individually (outside of the protocol) while pregnant or breastfeeding.

For children and women during pregnancy/breastfeeding, we recommend working with a healthcare practitioner closely while taking products.

What are the next steps after my patient completes the Foundational Protocol?

We recommend Optimize A and Optimize B (which are phases recommended after completing the Comprehensive Protocol) or the Maintenance Kit, which is designed to help maintain and build on protocol progress.

What’s the difference between the Foundational Protocol and the Comprehensive Protocol?

The Foundational Protocol is a four-month approach to supporting detoxification.* It’s intended for individuals who are looking to periodically promote cleansing for an overall wellness boost.* It’s designed to balance the gut microbiome, increase energy levels, and optimize digestive and immune health — but is not as extensive as the Comprehensive Protocol, which covers more specific areas of health.*

The Comprehensive Protocol is an in-depth approach to supporting detoxification, intended for those who are looking to address their health at the root level and require increased immune and gut support. Completing the protocol over a prolonged period (9+ months) provides the body with sufficient time (and nutrients) to promote system balance through detoxification.*

What People Are Saying

BloomMD products are prescribed based on what your provider determines is medically appropriate and necessary for you. This may include prescribing generic drug products, and/or compounded products if appropriate and necessary. Compounded drug products are not approved by the FDA and are not evaluated for safety, efficacy, or quality.

Have Questions?

  • How is BloomMD different from other clinics?
BloomMD is different for 3 important reasons: 1. Safety: Our top priority is patient safety and satisfaction. We have a background specializing in Endocrinology, which means that we are the experts in prescribing GLP1-RA medications. Unlike others who are simply trying to sell a product, we are able to educate and inform our patients about the root causes of obesity, and how these medications can be used to truly transform lives. 2. Quality: Our medications come from a reputable and vetted pharmacy which ensures that each product has undergone rigorous testing to meet high safety standards. Our semaglutide and tirzepatide products are peptides, and NOT the salt form which other compounding pharmacies are using. 3. Pricing: We offer competitive pricing and affordable, customized treatment plans
  • Do I Qualify for GLP-1?
  • Who can use BloomMD?
BloomMD is available to all Arizona, Colorado, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Missouri, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Washington, Wyoming, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Mississippi, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. residents ages 18+, who demonstrate a medical need for treatment. Our Supplements and CellCore products are available for shipping across all 50 US states and Canada.
  • How does it work?
BloomMD is an online telehealth clinic, designed to simplify treatment for our clients. You can start treatment in three easy-steps. Complete a medical intake form to verify a medical need for treatment. Speak to your new healthcare provider through a telehealth (audio-visual) appointment. If medically appropriate, receive your medication in the mail every 30-90 days depending on your customized treatment plan.
  • What if I am having a medical emergency?
In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1, or your local equivalent, immediately.
  • Do you accept insurance?
No, clients are solely responsible for the cost of the service.
  • Is Semaglutide the same thing as Ozempic/Wegovy? Is compounded Semaglutide safe?
We do NOT sell Ozempic/Wegovy. While these brand names contain the active ingredient Semgalutide, we offer a compounded version that is more affordable to patients who cannot otherwise obtain Ozempic/ Wegovy. When a drug like Semaglutide is in shortage, compounders may be able to prepare a compounded version of that drug if they meet certain requirements set forth by the FDA. Our medication contains Semaglutide compounded with vitamin B12, sourced from FDA-inspected pharmacies which undergo rigorous safety inspections and third-party quality testing to insure your safety. We also do NOT use salt-forms of Semaglutide. The FDA has issued a warning against any clinics or companies falsely advertising their products as Ozempic and Wegovy. The same principle applies to Tirzepatide being falsely advertised as Mounjaro. We urge you to exercise caution against any clinic who makes these claims, as this is misleading and potentially harmful. Bloom Medical prioritizes patient safety, and that is why we provide experienced, transparent, medical professionals to educate each patient on the risks and benefits before starting any treatment. For more information visit the FDA website.
  • What are the most common side effects of semaglutide & tirzepatide?
The most common side effects of both medications include nausea, constipation, and stomach upset. Side effects should subside with continued use, and by following the tips outlined in the Welcome Packet.
  • What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide, and why is tirzepatide more expensive?
Both medications are powerful appetite suppressants and work to promote weight loss. They both mimic the hormone GLP-1, but Tirzepatide is the newest and first of its kind to include the agonists of two metabolic hormones; GLP-1 & GIP. While both medications are effective, Tirzepatide is a revolutionary drug that accelerates weight loss while having fewer side effects. You and your provider will decide which medication is best for you.
  • How do I get my medication?
After your initial consult, if you meet criteria, your medication will be shipped directly to your door at no additional cost.
  • How often will I need to see my provider?
All new patients require an initial telehealth visit. You will then have a brief visit each time a new prescription is required, which includes answering any questions and tracking your progress. This typically occurs every 1-3 months until you are stable on a maintenance dose. We have found that these follow up visits help our patients stay accountable, informed, and confident in their weight loss journey. Follow up visits are at no extra cost.
  • What if I have more questions after my visit?
Most questions are answered during the initial visit, follow up visits, on the website, and in the robust welcome packet we provide. If you have additional medication-specific questions, you can reach out by phone, text, or email. However, please allow up to 36 business hours for a response. We are not a general care clinic and we ask that you refer to your Primary Care Physician for acute illness and general health concerns.
